PORTS CYBERSECURITY

The Logistics Single Window emerges as an enabler of Digital Collaboration across all transport modes and will deliver the
digital tools for Portuguese ports, national logistics networks,
and the Portuguese State to comply with the requirements
of the systems at the national and European level

LSW SYSTEM ALLOWS:

Tracking events and information along the whole supply chain

The information sharing with Port Community Systems and electronic platforms from other countries, and the collaboration with national authorities

The compliance with the European Maritime Single Window Environment (EMSWE)

LSW System

The MÉTIS Project will address LSW cybersecurity needs and International Standards compliance, to create a more secure and resilient Transport and Logistic chain, preventing the domino effect of cyber incidents

LSW Role On MÉTIS PROJECT

Cyber Security and System Resilience: reinforce the cybersecurity in APS and APDL’s ICT systems, provoking a spill-over effect in the Port Community, fully complying with the NIS Directive.

Scalability and Performance: promote best practices in ICT at the national and international level, ensuring the exchange of relevant information concerning risks

Interoperability: MÉTIS will implement critical actions toward the common knowledge about cybersecurity matters (Port Community Response Plan)

Legal Assurance and Accountability: The Transport and Logistics value chains will get another transparency level
