University of Luxembourg

The University of Luxembourg (UNILU) is a young, multilingual, public research university founded in 2003. The aim of the institution is to bring intellectual potential back to the country and offer high-quality education in Luxembourg, shaping economic, technological, societal and cultural development. As the only public university in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, its vision is not only to be a world-class research-intensive University for Luxembourg, but also for the world.

More than 1000 research projects are currently ongoing at UNILU, with 14 prestigious ERC grants in the fields of physics, mathematics, ICT, biology, political science and psychology. The University is intensely involved in research projects funded by the Luxembourg national funding agency (FNR), H2020/Horizon Europe, as well as funding derived from industry, government agencies, and donations.
